Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Chris Tomshack(“I,” “me”) collects through https://www.christomshack.io, why, and what your options are. It’s written in plain language on purpose.

What I collect

• Email address — when you sign up for the newsletter, download a free guide, or ask to be notified about something coming soon.
• Name, email, and message content — when you use the contact form.
• Payment information— if you purchase a product or book a paid session, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. I don’t see or store your card details.
• Basic analytics— page views and which pages/buttons get used, collected in aggregate. This site uses Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-free and doesn’t track you individually across other sites.

How I use it

• To send the guide, resource, or download you asked for.
• To send occasional emails about new guides, products, or things I’m working on — no more than what you signed up for, and you can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
• To respond to messages sent through the contact form.
• To fulfill and support any purchase you make.
• To understand, in aggregate, what content and pages are actually useful — never to identify you individually.

Who it’s shared with

I don’t sell your information. It’s shared only with the service providers that make the site work:

• Kit (ConvertKit) — email list management and newsletter delivery.
• Resend — delivers messages sent through the contact form.
• Stripe — processes payments for any paid product or session.
• Plausible Analytics — aggregate, cookie-free site analytics.
• Vercel — hosting infrastructure.

Each of these has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on my behalf.

Your options

You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it, or by emailing me directly. You can ask me to delete the information I have about you at any time — just reach out using the email below.

Cookies

This site doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies. A small amount of local storage is used to remember your light/dark theme preference — this stays on your device and isn’t sent anywhere.
